Our Story

Forestry Conservers Association of South Sudan (FCA-SS) is an indigenous Association with universal perspective. We are passionate about conservation of forestry, environmental sustainability and building peaceful society for green communities in South Sudan.

Founded in response to the growing deforestation and environmental degradation in South Sudan, FCA-SS has been at the forefront of conservation efforts since our establishment. We work with people, through people and for the people to promote the harnessing and development of people's abilities and community capacity.

Our goal is to protect the forests and prevent deforestation that lead to land erosion and degradation, while promoting sustainable livelihoods for local communities.

Through our community-centered approach, we've successfully engaged thousands of South Sudanese in conservation activities, planted tens of thousands of trees, and established partnerships with local and national government bodies.
